it's you, me and the world.

I really haven’t been updating this blog since school started.. :P school has just been crazy with rehearsals for this week’s showcase. I’m extremely glad that it was so successful and big thank yous to those who helped to make the performances so successful! <3 And POH! her last time performing with us?-ish? I can’t believe she’s leaving so soon! :O I’m gonna miss her lots! She’s been a great/awesome senior! (:

But from this showcase, I really feel as though I have gotten stronger in my dancing compared to the start of the year. I also have learnt so many other things like making my bun extremely neat and flat (not so much) and making sure my pointe shoes are alright for performances, enjoying the performances and more… (:

That aside, it’s national day celebrations! (: Feeling patriotic.. :P Listening to national day songs!.. Reminds me of Old Airport Road.. Ahh, so fun. I missed those G2 times! I hope it’ll be equally as fun this year! (:

Man,these cookies were really good! I baked them just now (: I thought that they were just normal chocolate chip cookies but nope! It’s quite sweet but the texture of it and the thickness of it are quite different from the normal chocolate chip cookies. But in a way, they’re still chocolate chip cookies. Omg, I love them. They taste so good! Teehee. Oh! and I subsituted coffee powder with milo powder :P I don’t know if the taste would change so much cause it was only 1 1/2 teaspoons of milo. At least they still tasted nice! :D

Despite the embarrassing games on the very first day of church camp, I really enjoyed camp. It was kinda funny how one day can just change my mind. After the first day, I was whining to my friends & mom about how I hated all those games and didn’t want to go back to camp. But I’m glad that one of my friends told me to at least try being spontaneous and participative in camp. She’s my awesome friend. It’s true, I guess. Once you close out on others, you’re not gaining anything from camp and would always be in your own little world.

Second day was really what changed me. We listened to talks, had mass and played a game. It was really inspiring and really made me think about God. Now, I feel very enlightened to spread God’s word and be more like the person God wanted me to be.

At night, the girls in my class decided after writing letters of affirmation to our friends that we would stay up and play some games. It was really really fun! We laughed non stop at our lameness. Oh and we played truth or dare! Hahaha. Loved it. (I’m really glad that we really bonded cause it included other people from other groups and we really got to know each other better)

The next day, today, was nothing much, just cleaning up and prayers. I read my affirmation notes when we were on our way back. I really appreciate those words that different people have written. It was really fun being with all those people. Thank you all for this awesome journey, including the YFs and teachers :)

I’m supposed to do homework today but I ended up baking some carnival bars :P They’re just cookie-like cake-ish thingy and sweeet. Heehee.

After notes:

• Generally quite easy to bake. This is actually under the “children’s section” which is the easy section and for children snacks section
• Was lazy to go down to get MnMs so I used chocolate chips. They kind of tasted a little like raisins (to me) for some reason. But I think it’ll be much more yummy if I used MnMs. Shall do that the next time (:
